Day 16 / July 1 – We woke up in Leverick Bay, topped off the water tanks and headed to Wreck Alley between Cooper and Salt Islands. We dove the Inganess wreck. As part of their Heritage Awareness Specialty course, students were given a few short tasks, including a sketch/description of the site, to complete during their dive. After the dive we headed to Cooper Saddle, Cooper Island, where we spent the night. Before dinner, students snorkeled, turtle tagged (didn’t see any turtles), and enjoyed some water time. For our evening presentation we discussed marine science careers and watched a cool video about marine science careers. And yet again, in the blink of an eye….it was time for bed.
