On Friday we woke up in Brewers Bay and dove the west side at a site called The Pinnacles. (Continued…)

It was a deeper dive with several submerged boulders and some surge, which made for a really interesting and fun dive. Another group of our students dove a really cool wreck called the Chikuzen at an offshore site that not many people get to dive because conditions need to be just right. Then we spent some time working on our marine science project outlines and preparing for our course exam, which would be administered after dinner. We headed back to Jost Van Dyke for some recreation time at Sandy Cay and Sandy Spit. Then it was time to meet up with the other boats at Little Harbour where we enjoyed a local family style dinner and stayed for the night. Only one more full day out on the water – where did the time go!? Even though the time has passed quickly, we’ve gotten so much accomplished and have learned a great deal. Here’s to another great day!
