A Hunger for Adventure

The students were wanting to get a little shore time so we headed to Rock Sound, the main town on Eleuthera Island.

We walked around and then headed to the grocery store to satisfy some of those cravings for things we had missed since being on the boat. The usual suspects – soda, ice cream, gum, chips – were had by all. And not to worry, moms and dads…several students also bought some fruit and one even enjoyed a head of broccoli. 🙂 Then we walked to a park called “Ocean Hole” because of the large open freshwater cave. Some students took a swim in the Ocean Hole and others hung out, enjoying some time on dry land. Afterwards, we went to a restaurant called Sammy’s Place to enjoy some local fare for lunch. Before we knew it, it was time to head back out to sea and do some more diving, including another night dive!
