Travel day! After a great time in the USVI it was time to pull up anchor and continue the program in the British Virgin Islands.
After a little time in Cruz Bay, we got on the ferry and headed to Sopers Hole, West End Tortola to move onto our new home, Outta Space. After a boat briefing and moving in to our cabins, we got underway and headed to Salt Island – a favorite spot for the FATHOMS program. The students thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling in the nearby seagrass beds and collecting specimens for our algae/seagrass lab. Before we knew it, it was dinner time and another exciting day was just around the corner.
