We woke up in Leverick Bay, topped off the water tanks and headed for Vixen Point in the North Sound of Virgin Gorda

The FATHOMS group went farther north to do a creature identification snorkel at a unique reef off of Eustatia Island. We saw so much coral and some very large invertebrates, including lobster, urchins and queen conch. After the snorkel we enjoyed some shore time and beach games with the other main program boats. Some of the students also did some turtle tagging. After lunch we sailed for a few hours and anchored in Lee Bay, Great Camanoe Island where we stayed for the night. Before dinner, students enjoyed some beach time and watersports. For our evening presentation we discussed marine science careers and watched a video about different marine research and conservation projects being conducted throughout the region. And yet again, in the blink of an eye….it was time for bed.
