A native New Englander, Andrew has taught scuba diving from Boston to California to the Caribbean.  After graduating from the University of Richmond with a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature, he spent a year diving in the Mediterranean before becoming a scuba instructor and departing on adventures to Martinique and the Turks and Caicos Islands. 

Andrew is a NAUI Instructor Trainer but still prefers introducing the sport to beginners and imparting his appreciation for the sea to young people.  For the past five years he taught summer campers to scuba dive in the kelp forests of Catalina Island. Always passionate about the environment, Andrew has been a sea kayak guide, a science instructor, and a research diver aboard a 75-foot trawler that cruised the waters from the Gulf of Mexico to the Mona Passage.  Currently residing in the Bahamas, Andrew lends his diving services to the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park, installing boat moorings and collecting coral reef data
