Capt Monk and SeaTrek BVI recently donated two sets of Sherwood scuba gear to the Neptune Warrior Project. Their mission is to teach therapeutic scuba diving to wounded veterans. This type of diving helps wounded veterans improve muscle strength, mobility, confidence and psychological well-being.

The donated sets of gear will be used in the “BREATHE” sessions where it allows wounded veterans to get in the pool and breathe! Underwater these vets can discover relaxation and time to destress.

We are very proud to be a part of this cause. Learn more about the Neptune Warrior Project here: http://www.neptunewarrior.org

“Scuba diving provides a safe space for those suffering PTSD and hyper vigilance, a community for those transitioning from service, relaxation from stress, and sense of mission for those who have spent  life serving others.”
